Come the month of July every year, we have the Fibroid Awareness Month that hits in the gynecology circles in India and abroad. This month is devoted in the medical circles for creating awareness about the Fibroid that are found of small size like moles to water melon size. It helps in creating the awareness about the ailment that can help the child bearing ladies to face the issue with calmness and clarity. The treatment for this ailment is both the fibroid surgery in India and non-surgical option as well. As per reports, more than 90 percent of African and American women are seen becoming the victim of this ailment. The same reports also suggest that the ladies from these continents also have big size fibroid that give heavy bleedings. So, with higher number of women being added in the sufferers’ list, it simply means that this condition has to be understood well, which is the basic reason why this month is observed every year.
